The CONNX for Informix module provides secure, real-time, read/write access to Informix data sources on AIX, OSF1, HP-UX, SCO, Solaris, Unisys, Unix and Windows. In conjunction with other CONNX modules, you can perform seamless joins between Informix and most other databases.

With CONNX for Informix, a single metadata model can be created that spans all enterprise data sources and applications requiring data access. The result is an enterprise-wide view of data that provides a reusable, standards-based framework for information access.

CONNX supports over 400 data types, including BLOBs and CLOBs, and performs bi-directional data conversions for data updates and retrieves.

CONNX for Informix supports the creation of views, which facilitates hiding table relationships from the end user. CONNX views facilitates the creation of heterogeneous joins between multiple disparate databases.

CONNX also offers access to C-ISAM Data.

The CONNX InfoNaut Tool can be used to access all CONNX modules.

The CONNX Data Synchronization Tool works in conjunction with all CONNX modules.

CONNX Web enablement can provide Web access to any of the CONNX modules.
