Information
What is CONNX Classroom Training?
We want you to understand and take advantage of
all of the CONNX features- to get the most of your
investment. The Classroom Training provided by our company is a
step-by-step review of the features and capabilities of CONNX.

Why do I need Classroom Training?
Classroom Training is not a requirement for purchasing CONNX,
it is an option that is available to you. Classroom Training is
made available to you so you and your entire team can have a
complete understanding of where and how CONNX can contribute
to your organization's projects.

What Training Sessions are Available?
Each session is customizable to your organization's
specific objectives, interests, and intended use of
CONNX. Currently, there are several sessions with
suggested agendas available. Refer to the list of
Available Sessions for information.

Why do we need a proposal/agreement?
The proposal/agreement serves two purposes. The first is to
define what you would like to accomplish during the Classroom Training. Identifying what you would like accomplished in the
proposal/agreement helps us to ensure that the Consultant
conducting the training is well prepared. The second purpose
is to provide you with the costs and intended payment
arrangements. This also helps both you and our team to
understand the respective expectations of the training ahead
of time.

How long does it take?
Depending on what you would like accomplished during the
Classroom Training, We have prepared 3-day and 5-day classes made-up of several full and half day sessions. Review
your objectives with your CONNX Sales Representative and they
can help determine which sessions and how many days will be
appropriate for your needs.

Are there products used with CONNX that you could
help us understand?
Absolutely, we can demonstrate and discuss how
other products can be used with CONNX. In the past, we have
discussed and demonstrated using CONNX with Microsoft Access,
Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, Cognos Impromptu, and others.
It is recommended that the personnel attending the training be
power users or at least have a fundamental understanding of
the products. The training will focus on how to use CONNX with
these products rather than general product training. We can
also provide an understanding of how CONNX can be utilized in
your Internet technologies, data integration, data
warehousing, and reporting solutions.

How are the training schedules organized?
The training schedule is determined by you and the number
and type of training sessions needed. The topics for each
session can be generalized discussions for a basic
understanding or expert demonstrations depending on your
preferences, the audience, and available time. The amount of
time allocated to each session can be determined and adjusted
by you and your trainer both prior to and during the Classroom
Training.

Who should attend the training?
Classroom Training sessions can be oriented towards technical
experts with a thorough understanding of the technologies in
place or to power users who better relate to the business
issues that CONNX can help address. When you discuss Classroom
Training with your CONNX Sales Representative let them know
your preferences.

What time does the training start each day?
Typically, each day begins between 8:30 and 9:30 AM, but we
suggest starting times that conform to your organization's
normal working hours.
What are the qualifications of the trainer?
We feel that the best training and insight in how
to utilize CONNX is from our Senior Consultants. As they have
experience in developing technical solutions in environments
just like yours, they can relate to the issues with which you
are faced. Their practical, hands on experience using CONNX
means you benefit from real-life wisdom.

How much does it cost?
The cost for Classroom CONNX Training is an hourly-rate
basis, plus the typical expenses such as travel time,
transportation, lodging and meals associated with travel to
your site. The hourly rate model provides you with the
greatest flexibility and best value for your investment.
Rather than structuring training around a rigid schedule and
charging fees by session, number of days, or the number of
attendees, the hourly rate provides you with a means for
customizing the training and use of the consultant's
expert knowledge of CONNX. Contact your CONNX Sales
Representative to determine the costs for your preferred
training program.

How do I pay for the training?
We will invoice you for the agreed upon costs
associated with the session(s) following the Classroom Training.
Let your CONNX Sales Representative know if there are purchase
order numbers or billing references that should be included on
the invoice to expedite the payment process.

What equipment or facilities do we need to conduct the
training?
The equipment and facilities will vary depending on the
session and the number of attendees that will be attending
each session. We prefer to conduct the Classroom Training in a
setting that your organization has found successful in the
past. For some organizations, that may be a formal classroom
setting, for others an informal office-to-office setting.
What do I get to keep from the training?
During the training sessions, sample applications,
demonstrations, and presentations will be provided prior to
and during the on-site visit. We will also review the other
information and resources available to you and your
organization.

Are we required to have CONNX installed prior to training?
No. Our consultants will come prepared with the latest
release of CONNX, ready to be installed. This installation
process is usually the first step during the on-site visit.
Even if you have CONNX installed, our consultant will evaluate
your installation to make sure that it is optimized, and that
you are running the most recent version.

Does you offer anything beyond Classroom Training?
Absolutely. Professional consultants are available
including Project Managers, Software Engineers,
Database Analysts, and Technical Writers. Strategically, we can assist you in determining how to leverage your
current technical infrastructure investments. Tactically, our
software professionals can assist you in "getting
projects done" on time and within budget.
